Amazon Prime Big Deal Days October 8-9 ENDED

If you're a Prime member there are usually some decent deals on select items. I'll post any I see tomorrow.

There is some strategy involved in this. On some items, if you wait the price may go down late in the sale if they haven't cleared their inventory of that particular item. On the other hand, you also risk that they sell out of it if you wait too long.

Ah, the (ostensibly) free market. On the other hand, we have a few fingers and a thumb.

I look for other sellers before committing on Amazon. Copy the item details, googol around a bit often finding other sellers (like Home Depot, Lowes, Target and Walmart with competitive pricing or better). And, if you're a Prime Member, can't you cancel an order if you find a better price? Buy one in the morning and if the price goes down at sundown, buy another and cancel the first?

By the way, I use CAMEL CAMEL CAMEL and often that bot finds me some good deals - be patient, you really don't need much in a hurry. Here's one that came in today:

Answered in your stand alone post. In my view this really depends on what you are expecting to do with this; it is not the tool for resawing lumber from raw logs, or creating 16-20" bowl blanks, but for small(ish) pieces this might be fine. I have never heard of the brand, which would make me a little bit wary of this particular deal.
