One of my old farmer neighbors recently passed away, and his family asked me to help them dispose of some very old black walnut lumber that he had stashed away in his barn. The boards average between 5" - 8" wide, 4/4 (with one 5/4 or 6/4), and in total measure around 50 - 60 board feet. A couple of the boards have some really nice feather crotch grain figure too.
It's available for $150.00 for the entire lot, which works out to be between $2.50 - $3.00 per bd ft - not a back price at all.
