Quartersawing Question

My neighbor recently had a massive white oak taken down in his yard and he has given it to me for whatever purposes I see fit. The trunk is a good 36" in diameter and over 12 foot long. Looking at the ends it seems to be in excellent condition with no checking or insect borings. I'm thinking...

Kyle, Jeff, Woodbutcher, What method(s) do you guys use for quartersawing White Oak? This link has nice summaries, with pics and graphics, of 3 methods. Any special procedure(s) or caution not mentioned at the link that we need to be aware of? Hopefully, I will have a couple White Oak logs...
