minwax

Ever thinned out water based poly (specifically minwax polycrylic)?

there was a previous post that skirted this topic but seemed to go in a how-to and "dos & don'ts" type of direction. anyone ever thinned it out? it is just so thick and i want to apply at least a sealer coat (client doesn't want to use any shellac) of a thinned finish first. any help or...

Minwax Antique Oil Finish

Hi Guys, Do any of you know where I can find this in the Charlotte area? Both HD and Lowes carry Minwax products, but this doesn't seem to be part of their standard floor stock. Woodcraft doesn't carry Minwax at all, and I don't really want to order it online if I don't have to. Thanks...

Minwax Polycrylic

Don't know if you guys have used Minwax Polycrylic but after years of lacquer finishing I really like this stuff. It's water based so cleanup is easy. It dries in 2 hours and can be re coated after 2 hours. Lays down nice and smooth with my spary gun set at 30 ~ 35 PSI and the valve wide open...
