Because of my lighting it is tough to tell in the first picture – but the same angle that is cut on the ends is cut on the face for visual effect. The second pic shows it some… To hang it I have used a key hole bit into the bottom of the maple spacer at the top of the cross.
The woods are Padauk, Wenge, and Maple. The finish is spray lacquer, two coats of gloss then one of satin.
