It does, I go to a good many sales like this and other stuff that I find on marketplace. Honestly usually when people know that their loved one's passion gets passed on to the next person through sale it's somewhat comforting.
Plus it's a great way to connect with those people and help share some sympathy buy engaging with them about simple things Like tools.

Interesting collection of items. Command sergeant major uniform, purple heart medal, two french horns, General 260 lathe with 20" swing, DeWalt radial arm saw, large bandsaw and the saw vise mentioned above. Was he a member here?

Not so sure about "professional" woodworker tools. But it does make you sad to look

The big band saw is a Duro 16". Duro called it their 'Production' model. For the right guy. that saw can be made into a quality machine. 10-1/2" under the guides.
