Actually, we ended up storing some furniture in there while I finish staining/finishing a dresser and a round table (outside when the wind is calm) that were given to us. As soon as I can get that stuff out of there and back where it should be I'll get to it.
I'm glad you posted this because it just reminded me to ask the LOML about the Murphy's oil soap. She said that it is fairly common and you can get it at almost any grocery store. Stupid me. :slap: Long story short, she is going to get some this afternoon and we'll give it a shot. I'll let you know what happens. My plan of attack is as follows (if one doesn't work I'll try the next one):
Murphy's
Vegetable oil
Mineral Spirits
transplant a strip of carpet from the closet
loose my mind, rip carpet up and throw out onto curb. :icon_thum
