just wondering,do i need to remove the baseplate on the router to mount the router to a router table? seems if i do the mounting screws will go in deeper into the threads in the mounting holes in the router,

To make the screw depth match you would need to remove the base plate and countersink the holes on the Router Table mounting plate to match the thickness of your base plate.
or, get longer screws that match the thread, so that you don't have to compromise the integrity of the top. You would lose a little bit of the depth adjustment that way...
