Don't understand the math for cutting core curves with the router base plate edge. Trying to put a specific radius (1.5") on a cutting board. The base is three inches and the bit is 1/2" diameter. I tried an inside jig and the curve was the radius of the base and a half of the bit; outside jig and it was a hard 90 (bit size). Can you help me understand the relationship?
