Old Timer from Apex

Even though I've been here since the early days, I have never introduced myself. I'm a retired, self employed handyman / plumber/ cabinet maker. etc. Held several professional licensee's in working years. Spent about six years teaching shop in school system. We live on five acres between New Hill and Holly Springs, but Holly Springs is fast taking us over. Never lived outside Wake County in my life, though I have lived within three miles of both the Granville and Chatham County lines. Grew up outside a small town (less than 1200 people) in western Wake County called Cary. Seen a lot of changes in this area in my 76 years.
