I am Rick Smith and go by Rick on this site. I have been here for several years now but never posted an introduction. I live in Caldwell county and retired in 2020 as a network security engineer and associate professor of Computer Science and Economics. I have been woodworking for 50 years and started building furniture for family and friends which turned into my current business building on commission custom furniture for clients.
