Latest Woodcraft sale flyer had this push block as a new item. Bought one and like it so far. Less klunky than the original and no adjustments needed. Minimum cut is 5/16”. Use one edge or the other against the fence to clear the blade.
Looks like a budget friendly grr-ripper. Good idea on their part. I do like my grr-rippers. Now that the patent is expired there are lots of clones so this makes sense for microjig to diversify.
I have a similar Milescraft product. I definitely feel safer using it rather than a conventional pushstick, but it doesn't work equally well with all stock.
