I cut Corian. A scrap of 1/2” thick corian leftover. Cut on my scroll saw with a Flying Dutchman #5 polar blade. The edges were sanded with my belt sander and my Guinevere sander. It was easy to cut. It ‘Cut like butter’!

When I saw someone posted about Corian scraps, I remembered an article about it in a Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazine. I had to find the article. it was Spring 2013. According to the article by Carole Rothman it can be done in 1/2” corian. Using Flying Dutchman #5 Polar blades. They will dull quickly. Charlie got the corian and I tried. It is messy. I went through quite a few blades. I still think it’s COOL!
One more thing to add to my list of “What else can I cut on my scroll saw besides wood”!
