Need suggestions for apartment washer supply connection

Hello Forum;

Question: Are there any suggestions about how I can make a better connection for a washing machine supply line?

Attached are pictures of a washing machine that I have in my apartment restroom. The connection (at the faucet) works okay but it leaks. Also, the connection does not slip together very easily.

Looks like it is cross-threaded at the faucet. Try unscrewing it and carefully screwing it on straight. A bit of luck will help too.

Try what pop-pop suggested. You could try adding teflon tape if the leak is minor.
