Miter Saw Workbench Cabinets Advice

I'm in the middle of construction and assembly, and I'm wondering what to do with the base. Did you affix yours to the baseboards, or how did you keep it stationary? I've already screwed the bases to the bottoms of my cabinets, but I realized now I don't have access to fasten the base down...

If you ever plan on taking them apart and moving them, then I'd put a separate back on each one. Either way will work, but you'll have more flexibility with individual backs.
