That is a great looking rocking horse!! Definitely in a different class than most. Has it been test ridden yet? How does that base do?

I haven't had the issues you speak of with WB lacquer. The blueish cast or the plastic look are not something I have experienced, but I have not used Crystallac only Target Coatings.

I am beginning to believe most of these manufacturers use the same or similar recipes and are just capitalizing off research the government has done and not done much of their own R&D whatsoever.

Stewball is about 10 years old and I am sure the technology has improved significantly since then. WB lacquers were relatively new at the time. Since then I have learned how to spray Poly without run problems and have never felt a need to experiment further.
