jeff...
I'm hoping someone may be able to help. I've repaired a damaged marble table top. It had a about a 4 inch chunk missing out of the top edge. It's filled, leveled and the grain is painted the grain back in. Now I need a finish to go over top the repair. Right now the repair area is built up with high gloss lacquer. The sheen matches pretty well but, marble is not lacquer.
I'm looking for a finish I can apply to the entire top, something thick and ultra high gloss clear and tough that I can be buffed out to a gloss marble sheen. The finish would need to be at least a 1/32 of an inch thick, dry fairly quickly, preferable pour on and self leveling. Price within reason is not an issue, it's a pretty expensive table. The service manager is going to call Mohawk tech support today and see what they have, but I figured someone here may be able to help too.
Thanks
