Welcome Tim. Are you an active RC airplane pilot? My son flies 3D airplanes and helicopters and we may have seen you around at RDRC.

I primarily fly my full-scale J3 Cub these days, but I’ve flown RC since my dad got me into around age 5. I’m a new RDRC member as of early this year. I actually have yet to fly at the field thanks to a pretty large house reno we are just wrapping up.

My kids are starting to become old enough to get into models and I plan on dragging them out there a bunch to this fall to start teaching them. I think it’s a great hobby to teach kids science and math- and when they become teenagers they won’t have enough money for booze! Ha.

Glad to have your son out to the hangar sometime (KBUY) and show him the full scale side of things.
