I've got about 200+ board feet of hickory that I had cut from a fallen tree about 10 years ago. I painted the ends when it was cut. It's been in my basement which was a bit damp but is nowadays dry... so the hickory is dry in my opinion. Conversely a fair amount of it (much of the less attractive pieces) wasn't stored well and has staining. The really nice pieces, as far as I have checked, seem good but I haven't checked carefully. Structurally it's all usable, though hickory really warps so some is really warped and probably stained.
Anyway, I'll give it away but you have to take it all out of my basement (I'll help).
It includes about 8 pieces that are over 14' long and all of the wood is at least 1" thick. I have a few 3" and 4" thick huge hickory boards that are maybe 3"x7"x10' or so and probably warped because they're hickory. All of the 14' stock has been on the floor on spacers and hopefully is nice - but no guarantees. I measured one of the largest boards and it was about 1 1/4" thick, 9" wide, and 15' long. Make someone a heck of a bed.
Anyway, if you're interested contact me and I'll check every few days so please be patient.
