CPSC Recall Alert for G0640x

Was checking out grizzly's site and saw a recall on my bandsaw! Of all things, electrical shock on a 220v 3 phase. Yikes. So of course I open it up to see if the grounding wire was missing as suggested... 2x Yikes! I am one of 500 suspected faults in manufacturing.

Grizzly service, as always, was prompt, polite and quick to ship repair kits, thou I don't plan to discontinue until they arrive.:saw:

Glad you discoverd this. I'm a little concerned that Grizzly didn't contact you since this has been published for over 2 months (and Grizzly problably knew about it before that)...unless you bought it second hand. If there were only 500 known saws affected that would not been much effort on their part. Heck of a lot cheaper and easier than dealing with a lawsuit d/t an electrocution.

Funny you say that, they have been mailing me a lot lately. Hope I didn't throw out any checks with the junkmail...
