Nice Job Tom. Where do you get the laser engraving done and what does that roghly cost to have done? Seems like a very nice way of personalizing some gifts for Christmas.

My friends live in Sanford and they have never charged me so I don't know what it costs. I think there is a whole laser fourm at Sawmill creek, where you could find out more info. Also some trophy shops have lasers,

The pine boxes are 5-3/4" wide x 4" deep x 2-1/2" tall.

The cherry boxes are 4-1/2" w x 2-1/2" d x 3" tall.

Tom, how did you do the inside of the boxes? I know you told me at the woodcraft class, but for the life of me I can't remember.

I am doing a knife display case for a friend of mine who did two tours in Iraq and his knife went with him both times. I could use felt, but it is a pain to fit it to the shape I need.

It is called "flocking". You can find it on Woodcrafts website. I love the stuff!
