Not a Delta planer, but a Tiawanese clone. This is basically a copy of the Delta 22-580. Based upon my Delta, weighs in at around 500#. If someone here should buy it, I have Delta "crows foot" stand which is available for FREE!

Changing knives in that style is a bit of an annoyance because you've got to work under the motor or move the motor. Still, its a great buy for a self-reliant guy that's tired of the suitcase screamer planer.

If I were in the market for a work horse planer, I would be all over this like a duck on a June bug, but I have both a Delta DC-380, an a Rockwell 13". The Rockwell was built to compete with the PM 100, and weighs close to 1000 pounds. It's definitely not a lunch box machine.

There is a guy on YouTube that had a similar planer that her restored and also upgraded it with a Shelix helical head.
