Spiral Staircase Around Log

I'm talking with a builder about a spiral staircase with two landings around a flared cypress log, and I'm trying to wrap my head around laying out for joinery as well as find something techniques for strength and consistency. I've got a few ideas, but I'm wondering, does anyone have any...

Spiral staircase handrail

I was talking with my boss this afternoon and he built a spiral staircase over the weekend in his cabin. The center post is a dried cedar tree trunk. The steps and balusters (?) are walnut and they are all in place. The only thing he couldn't figure out is how to make a handrail. Of course...

Open Newel Staircase

pich pine timber through out, all timber claimed, it started as a 20" mill beam, I converted it into the sizes needed, with a 6'-00" cross-cut saw.

Help w/building a staircase with a wind

Anyone have a suggestion for a good resource with construction tips for building an outdoor staircase with a wind? I am tossing around all kinds of ideas but could use some experience here ...
