    New version, smaller in every dimension. Notice the angled sides, and the angled rear panel in the horn. That spells 8.6 degrees of compound angle trouble! But they sound 1000% better than the first ones. But still not keeper, the MDF sounds bad. So I gotta make it again in baltic Birch ply...

    Lots of extra bracing added to prevent the walls of the speakers from vibrating with the music, which harms the sound.

    Interior bracing detail. Hole saws and 1/8" roundover on everything. The flat surface where the vertical and horizontal brace panels meet has to be dead flat and precise distance from speaker front panel, because the driver rests against there.

    With the driver installed. Lots of acoustic plumbing in there. Note the gaps at the bottom. These are precise area and depth to act as tuned port for low frequency sound waves. They let the inner box couple with the horns to make low notes sound louder. Magic!
