Let's compare grits

Okay, I know there are different standards for grading abrasives--and different types of abrasives. Sooo, does anyone know of a comparison chart? 8-O 'frinstance diamond stones are fine, coarse, etc., going from about 250 to 1000. waterstones are generally "finer" going from about 1000 to 6000...
