I was reading the latest edition of FWW this weekend and ran across an article about mahogany. I've been buying what Steve Wall Lumber calls genuine Mahogany. Based on the price ( $4 to $6) it's not the real thing. Having said that, it still looks great and is not too expensive. Any one know...
what are the differences ,if any, in honduras and genuine mahogany... of is the name the only difference? sorry for such a dumb question... thanks for any and all response... jonny
I have a piece of lumber as shown in the picture. Somebody told me that it is a piece of philippine mahogany. Could you experts out there tell me if this is indeed a philippine mahogany.
Thanks.
