I've got a small can of Minwax's Dark Walnut, staining red oak. After two coats, it's still not as dark as we want it. What can I mix with it to darken it a little more. It's oil based stain. -
Darkening an existing lacquer finish
I have some wall paneling that I'm looking to darken. It has 2-3 coats of lacquer on it and I really don't want to strip it. Oh, and I also don't have spray equipment to tone it. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what might be compatible? I was thinking some kind of gel stain, but...- mdelgiorno
