cloth

Tac cloth

I recall, vaguely, having once read about making tac cloths. IIRC, clean cloth was saturated and allowed to air-dry. They were soaked in either mineral spirits or linseed oli perhaps, I'm not certain. Has anyone tried making cloths? Would not rags so treated be a significant fire hazard over time?

Cabinet Door / Speaker Cloth

I am working on a couple built in units for some people and they are wanting closed cabinets to house the stereo/DVD, etc... electronics. I am planning to use frame and panel doors with speaker cloth for the panels. Can anyone here give me some recomendations on where to get the speaker cloth...
