Burnish with shavings!
I recently stripped a bad finish off a table with turned legs. Lots of beads and coves. Not easily sanded. So, I tried to burnish the legs with shavings (from my fathers lathe). Much like you see turners do with a piece spinning on the lathe. It works like a dream. The rough surface is...- froglips
