    best way to get 1/2 , 3/8 and 1/4 matterial

    this might sound like a stupid question but I am more looking for workflow information how can I spend the least amount of time and waste the least amount of material when when needing thinner stock example needing 1/2 material if 4/4 = 1" then this would not be thick enough to get 2 pieces...
