I own a 3,000 bf conventional kiln. I would never solar dry these slabs..

That's one beautiful slab. Andy Rooney (60 Minutes) has a similar looking walnut crotch desk which he got from his farm in upstate New York. Very unique. ccasion1

I'll say this, old growth timber is never cheap but i priced walnut slabs all over the country and i doubt anyone has better timber or prices anywhere in USA.
