Well the plan was a 3-in one and I have procrastinated and put off building the foot board for entirely too long. The patient LOML has made it perfectly clear this needs to get done, so I've been working on it. A fellow NCCW'r helped me use his domino to assemble the slats rather than tenon and mortise so that helped.

Here's some pics of the glue up

me pointing out where i sprayed glue all over the kitchen. luckily when it dried it doesn't look too bad.

This is gonna look fantastic!

What a great way to reuse material from our own projects.:icon_thum:icon_thum

I am hopping that you will keep us posted and get to see the final result.

BTW....that is a serious glueup and looks like the Domino was just the ticket for this application.

Very nice!:thumbs_up I think LOML would have my head if I tried to glue up anything in our kitchen and got glue on the walls.:rotflm:

Good work. Sometimes in the plan, life happens so don't feel too bad.
I wanted to make one of these multiuse beds when my daughter came along. She is now 27 and I still want to make one... sigh maybe before I have a grandchild that is 27???
