We just checked your album out and Great Work! Having been a lighthouse keeper in Maine I guess you know which our favorite is! :lol: All of your work has such great detail. If you are ever in Aurora, we need lessons!

We must have the same book - I cut that same trivet as one of my first projects. (no the picture is not posted). How thick was the wood you used? Did you put feet on it? Nice work.

BTW - yours looks better than mine did! :icon_thum

The trivet pictured is 3/4" poplar. It's used every day and has held up very well. I've also made a couple out of walnut for gifts.
