Brian (bluthart) and myself took the new chainsaw for a test run on some burls. One that he picked up from a fellow NCWWer and the other from a tree I've had to stare at for years on my way to my offices ... no longer!

Dang Jeremy! Busy, busy, busy. Did all of these events happen today? The piano bench, the bed, the burl, etc...

Bet you didn't even break a sweat did you?:gar-La;

So did you get permission to cut it down? :eusa_thin

Kinda looks like a chop and run type of thing?

Of course! I talked to the property owner and he gave me the green light. The burl was right by the road, and the tree HAD to fall into the road (otherwise it would be in a creek!). It all worked out in the end.

The burl looks awesome - beautiful stuff. :cool: :cool:

So, didja hit any passing cars when you cut down the tree? :rotflm: :rotflm:

That there wood is whatcha call an investment. Save it up until the kids start college 'cause you'll be broke then and will appreciate the "free" wood. :gar-Bi
