Several months ago I purchased my 14" bandsaw used. It had been tuned up a lot for an older model (new tires, upgrade fence, new bearings) and cut fairly well. Then at the WWing show I purchased the Carter Stabilizer system (since I mainly use the saw with smaller blades). Unforunately it never felt like I was getting adequate tension ... so, today I forked over another $20 and got the Carter coil spring. We'll see how it does ... but initial signs look good!
