It seems like we have had a lot of these type posts here lately. Is this advertising? And are we going to adopt a consistent policy on it?

Original Content:
I am conducting a 3 day molding plane workshop at the Woodwright’s School, Pittsboro, NC, March 11-13 (Friday through Sunday). I have a good supply of European steamed quartersawn beech. We will make the bodies, then grind and hone the blades to fit. This is a completely handtool oriented workshop. On Sunday am there will be a trip to the shop of renowned whitesmith and blacksmith Peter Ross (head blacksmith at Colonial Williamsburg for 25 years) to harden and temper our blades and to hear about tool steel in general.

Contact the Woodwright’s School (www.woodwrightschool.com) for details about registration. Basically it is $395 for the workshop with additional materials fee for the blade and molding plane stock ($40).

Some experience with sawing and chisel work would be ideal. All of the tools for the workshop are provided.

I think the policy is clear, but maybe not in the obvious place? Last line of the Classified Ads Policy:

Commercial Members may post notice of woodworking events or classes for woodworkers in the User Announcement Forum.

Specific to the cutting board class, it was in the wrong forum and the subject did not indicate it was a class offering.
