My daughter wanted a plant stand for all her plants. Steel/welding part was 1-1/4" square tubing. All powder coated.

Full wood drawers underneath with full extension ball bearing slides. They still need the handles installed. Shelves are 1x12 redwood with marine varnish. Solid mahogany fronts on drawers, 3/4" plywood mahogany outer boxes, traditional 1/2" plywood drawer construction with 1/4" ply bottoms.

I like both welding and woodworking so this was a fun project.

Your Daughter's plant stand turned out very nicely Dave. What source did you use for the mahogany ply?
