Pineapple shutters

Finished the shutters, but just getting around to posting.
I took a pic of the whole front, but you can't see the shapes in the center panels. But you can see (almost) the pineapples in this shot. The new ones are made from cypress from Scott Smith.

Haven't seen Joe around today.

The last time we were down to the farm to pick up Joe's remaining cypress, he was in the middle of doing his shutters.

He gave me a demo of using his router pantograph to carve out the images of the pinapple on his shutter panels. Pretty slick outfit.:icon_thum One similar to this one....
