Laptop Desk/Tray

OK, if I can figure out how to post them, here's a few pics of some laptop desk/trays I've been working on lately.

It's a simple cutout with a cushion on the back. Good for stability and for heat dispersion.

You might want to take a look at this design for future inspiration. I have it and I really like it. The raised (lowered?) leg at the back puts the computer at a better angle, at least for me. There is also a hole in the bottom and back, allowing good airflow to keep your legs cool.

Those look great! Not a criticism, but is there enough wood at the hand cutouts? I don't guess there is too much stress on those, they just look a little thin from the pics. How hard is the cushion to attach?

Ed, there's prolly more wood than it appears. It's plywood, so I think it's OK. Trying to keep as much room as possible for larger laptops.
