I recently got my first electric bill since I have started heating the shop. Although somewhat less than the national debt I thought it might be a good idea to insulate the 16x7 overhead door. I used a sandwich of 3/4" polyisocynacrylate foam panels with a mirror film on one side and pink styrofoam panels. The mirror film was placed against the door to reflect heat from the East facing door and the styro was placed to the shop interior. It seems to be working so far. I do not need a 16x7 radiator in the summer months nor do I need to be heating the great outdoors in the winter. If I find myself with the overpowering urge to sell Mary Kay cosmetics from looking at all the pink I will skin the door with some corplast panels
