Picked this sweet little Type 18 #3 Stanley up this last week. 100% original, looks like original blade has never been sharpened. Bet this little baby has been sitting in the dark since around 1946 with no use. Now it's time to use it! If my Type 11 #3 and Type 16 #3C don't pout......

Nice plane! There's still some of those pristine planes around. I picked up a type 16 #3C this week in nearly as good shape and a type 11 #3C in pretty good shape. I have a weakness for #3's, especially #3C's. Believe me, you're not plane crazy or have a problem until you pass 1000 planes. Who was it that said "There's a fine line between hobby and mental illness." :roll: :tinysmile_tongue_t: :dontknow: :help:
