Hi all -- I'm new here. Some of you may recognize me from the bt3 site, but I just came across this site while googling to find that dovetail saw article that was published a while back in a popular woodworking magazine. And since I'm in NC, I though I'd join.
So please be kind to me as I learn the ropes here
I got the woodworking bug back in 7th grade shop class, but I had to wait until I could afford a garage to actually do anything about it
I'm a hobbiest. My most recent project was a router table extension for my table saw to hold that new $99 Freud Avanti router that I picked up for myself just before Christmas -- I'll add a couple pictures. Other than that, I've made a lot of kids toys (e.g. rocking horses), chess boards, cabinets, and other things for gifts and for around the house.
I have some software online (e.g. Amazon affiliate link generator, and plug-ins for a popular 3D CAD software package) at http://www.codecreations.com, and I also sell plans for simple and easy-to-build furniture for home recording enthusiasts and musicians (currently at http://plans.thefrankes.com, but gradually moving to http://www.rackcreations.com).
I also have some tutorials online, including one on how to build a chess board, which has proven to be pretty popular. It's currently at http://plans.thefrankes.com/Tutorials/ChessBoard/Default.aspx
Here are a couple pictures of the router table extension:
