I want to give a big thank you to Michael Mathews for his assistance and advice in completing my first wood turned piece. I have done very little turning - nothing from beginning to end.
I completed work on a baseball bat I have worked on for a few weeks now. This bat will strictly be a display piece, and has been created as a replica of a tv show prop. The bat is actually four pieces of sapele glued together. I am not sure if that constitutes calling it a segmented piece, but maybe someone can explain the true definition of segmented wood turning.
I will post a few pictures to show progression through the project. But this post is less as a show and tell, I wanted to say thanks to Michael.
