door slabs

Any of you construction trades people know where I could locate a couple 4' wide door slabs, all I need are slabs no frame work needed.Commercial doors would be fine metal or wood.TIA

comercial openings on capitol blvd between the beltline and the 401 split. going north they would be on your right. martin architectural is over by capitol city lumber also. you may have to order them. never mind.... I see you are not local to raliegh. call them. maybe the PE could get em to ya.

Thanks Fred.I was hoping to find a couple used ones.I'll probably go with 3' slabs if I
have to buy new.
I'm wanting to make a french door that passes thru an interior wall that seperates two shop areas
the reason for 4' was so I would have ample room to get a vehicle thru if needed.

:widea: if its just for the shop you could make them. 6" styles and rails with a plywood panel wouldnt be hard to do. :icon_thum
