I find bearings to be INEXPENSIVE. You can buy quality bearings for less than $5 from mail / internet sources. Most manufacturers have gone to bearings from China. Delta charges about $20 for 6203's, and I buy them on sale for about $2 each from Reid Industries. Both made in China. With the exception of routers and shapers, most WW applications are low speed. One thing I find funny is to hear someone say a Uni is better than the Delta contractor's saw because it has better bearings on the arbor.
