Satin finish(im on the fence about that, I may knock it apart and go with gloss.
It has somewhat of an antique appearance.

They are an organic emulsified,dyed, homoginized, dyed wood by-product I get from Columbia.

I really like that color combination.

I like it just as is -- so long as the finish is protective NOT everything needs to be glossy. Of course, you could make another and finish it with gloss and compare them side by side. ;-)
