Walnut crotch wood scoop
I was at my sister's place for Christmas and noticed her ice cream scoop was an old aluminum one. Her birthday is in a couple of weeks, so I have taken it upon myself to remedy that problem. Choke Cherry ice cream scoop
I made this ice cream scoop from a small diameter log of Choke Cherry. The pith is approximately dead center in it, running the length of the handle. the finger grips serve the purpose of ease in use, but more importantly, it cuts through various rings to show more of the grain of the wood...- Dave Peterson
