Beautiful, I love the look of cherry and you found some great stock. Are those sliding Dt's between the legs and the top? Dave

I got the cherry wood from Wall Lumber in Mayodan, he was kind enough to pick out the stock. The bench is very simple - the legs are joined to the top with a 1/8" dado and the legs and braces are cross notched. The braces are glued and screwed to the top. It looks fragile, but easily holds my 200+ pound weight.
