Probably not as long as it looks. I did a few layers and stopped for quite a while. Finally got tired of seeing them and finished it. Each layer is one continuous ring - most cut in a wavy pattern and alternating then so they give the woven appearance. I really don't know how long it took. I wish I had taken more time in gluing it up.
