This is a composite of plans from FWW and Woodsmith. The wood is QSWO. The legs are made up of jointed and glued 5/5 with the faces veneered with 1/8 QSWO. This gives the quarter sawn effect on all four sides.
I also used walnut dowels to seat the tenons and also on the arms to add some add'l strength as well as offer a contrast effect.
I am in the process of having the cushions made and they will be done in leather. The finish I plan on using is the Jeff Jewitt A&C formula.
